Important

Policies

Please read before booking. By paying your deposit you are agreeing to all policies below.

Deposits

  • A £10 deposit is required per treatment before a booking is accepted. If the treatment costs less than £10, the full amount acts as the deposit.
  • You have 24 hours from requesting your appointment to pay the deposit. If unpaid, the slot will be released.
  • Paying the deposit confirms your acceptance of all policies.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancelling or rescheduling more than 48 hours before your appointment: deposit refunded in full.
  • Cancelling or rescheduling 48 hours or less before your appointment: deposit non-refundable.
  • Lash treatments carry a 48-hour non-refundable window.

Lateness

  • If you arrive late I will do my best to complete the treatment, but this may not always be possible. Some treatments (e.g. Lash Lift & Tint) have a fixed minimum time and cannot be shortened.
  • Add-ons such as nail art may need to be omitted if time is reduced.
  • If the appointment has to be cancelled due to lateness, the deposit may be forfeited.
  • Please arrive at your appointment time, not early — I may still be with a client, setting up, or on a break.

Parking

  • If parking on the drive, please park close to the wall and as far back as possible to avoid blocking family vehicles.
  • Free street parking is available outside.

Illness

If you are unwell, please reschedule. I have vulnerable family members and clients, and illness also risks me having to cancel multiple future appointments.

Payment

  • Bank transfer — preferred method
  • Cash — correct amount please, change is rarely available
  • Card — for payments over £50, bank transfer or cash is preferred to minimise transaction fees

Child-Free Salon

The salon is child-free. Please do not bring children to your appointment, for their safety and to protect equipment and stock.

Nail Treatments

  • Acrylic and BIAB that reaches 8 or more weeks without an infill will need to be removed and a fresh set applied.
  • Nail art and add-ons may not be possible if you arrive late.

Lash & Brow Treatments

  • A patch test may be required 24–48 hours before treatment.
  • Please arrive with clean lashes and brows — no mascara or brow products.
  • The non-refundable cancellation window is 48 hours for all lash treatments.

Waxing

  • Hair should be at least 1cm long for effective waxing.
  • Avoid sun exposure, fake tan, and exfoliation for 24 hours before and after waxing.

Meet Kirstie

About Me

My story

I’m Kirstie Allen, a nail technician and beautician based in Whitstable. I started doing nails in 2019 and enrolled on a Level 3 Nail Technician course in March 2020 — becoming a nail tech had always been my ambition.

Between 2020 and 2022 I trained in Lash Lift & Tint, Brow Lamination & Tint, Facials, Spray Tans, Waxing, Level 3 Massage and Level 3 Makeup. In April 2025 I completed a Classic Lashes course.

I moved from Sidcup to Whitstable in 2021, which allowed me to move from mobile-only treatments to both home salon and mobile — growing a completely new clientele from scratch.

Awards & accreditations

In 2024 I entered the UK Hair and Beauty Awards for Best Gel Nails and received the Highly Recommended award. I am a 3× 2026 UK Hair & Beauty Awards Finalist and hold Salon Gold 2025–2026 accreditation.
